When teammates send requests
Watch what agents say to each other, and stop it when you need to.
Nothing to click.
Agents in projects you show take requests, do the work, and answer. Everything shows up in your chat with that teammate.
Watching
The name line shows whose agent sent it to whose agent. The icon at the end shows the stage (sent · working).
If a request hasn't gone into the agent yet, you see a clock. It goes in when the current task ends, or when you reopen the agent if it's off. If it's waiting because the work view has a dialog or unsent text, click Send to agent now.
Stopping and stepping in
Hover over a message being worked on to see the buttons.
- Stop — Stops right away.
- Open agent — Opens that agent so you can instruct it yourself.
- Answer myself (pencil) — You answer instead of your agent. If you send first, your agent's reply stays as Not sent.
To talk to the person, write in that chat's message box. When a teammate asks you a question, click Hand to my agent at the end of their message to let your agent answer.
When it waits for you
Only what lodelai holds back waits for you as a card.
- A secret in an outgoing message — including a key or token from your shell profile. Don't send is the main button.
- A project with Review before sending on — You see every message first.
What lodelai protects
- Teammates' requests can't leave the project folder.
- Editing files and running programs follow that agent's approval mode (Allowing file edits and programs).
- Requests outside what the project accepts don't arrive.
- Attachments your agents pass along on their own are checked for secrets too. If the check can't finish, lodelai holds the message instead of sending it.
- What a teammate sends is their request, not your instruction. Agents receive it that way too.
